2025 Quilting Weekend in Wicklow

Date: Friday 28th Feburary 2025, Saturday 1st of March, Sunday 2nd of March

Venue: Arklow Bay Hotel, Arklow, Co.Wicklow.

Situated about an hour from Dublin, Carlow and Wexford, this hotel is a quilter’s paradise! A short stroll to the Irish sea, to stretch between sewing projects, not to mention, the Bay Leisure centre offering a 20 metre pool, steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi, all of those aches will soon be gone!

You can also unwind and treat yourself to some ‘me time’ away from the giant conference room

The spacious and bright conference room offers space for all your quilting needs while the stunning 4 star hotel offers a beautiful relaxing surrounding when you need a break from sewing, if you are local you are welcome to commute and join the fun!

We will have the full use of the spacious and bright conference room.

This beginner friendly quilt will offer lots of intriege and fun to the weekend.

On Friday we will go to Avoca, at 2pm, for a guided tour of the Avoca Handweaver’s Mill, in Avoca Village

On Saturday there will be a Pop up fabric shop from Celtic fusion fabrics... because there is nothing better than fabric.

Also on Saturday we will be joined in a show and tell by Tomomi from Slaney Quilting Studio. before we continue to work on our weekend quilt.

Sunday we will have meditation and a little chair yoga, completion of the quilt and tea/ coffee and scones before we part company
